You now you are always very leary about buying footware online because you're not able to try them on, you can only go by others reviews if there are any. Also I tend to have cold feet & I'm now back in snow country after 40 years & I was worried if they would keep my feet from freezing. Well they fit perfect. I wear them with a thin over the calf sock & with the 40 below liner have never had an issue with cold feet. Can we say awesome. These are a pair of wool winter boots that a guy appreciates. I highly recommend these to anyone that has to be in the snow for most of the day. FYI, if you're feet perspire like mine don't forget to pull the liners out & dry them. Thanks Sorel for a GREAT product!! A Sorel wool winter boot never to be with out.

Waterfall Low Lace Snowboot
I bought these for the up and coming snowy weather. I tried these on and I am a true 8.5. I read somewhere that these were running small so I ordered a 1/2 size up. I ordered a size 9 and they fit. I wont be able to wear really thick socks but that is ok..... So if you order these order at least a 1/2 size bigger than your normal size. If you want to wear thick socks I suggest a whole size up. I love the look and sprayed them with weather and waterproofing protectant and now I am good to go. I bought both colors. They look pretty good and they dont make my feet look huge..:)
Sorel Glacier Boots For Women
We have owned a pair of these boots for, probably, well over 20 years, as has the rest of my family. When it comes to Sorel Boots For Women. These are far the best. If you want warmth in real cold--these are just the BEST!!! Great for ice fishing, snow camping, snowmobiling, hunting, outdoor events which don't require great exertion (ie: lots of standing around, such as, at youth events), extreme cold, emergencies, etc. I have chronically cold feet, but not in these! Tried a new pair on recently, except for being made in China now, seem pretty much the same as mine. Fit was a tad smaller, so might need a bigger size than in the past (We noticed this sizing issue with all Sorels made in China. We wish they were still made in Canada.). The only downside, which is to be expected, is that they are on the heavy-side. But, since they would be too warm to wear every day, even in the north country, that's not much of a problem to us. We love these sorel galcier boots and would always want to keep a pair around for extreme cold conditions! My whole family agrees. The galcier boots are our favorites.
Pact T WinterBoots
I normally wear a 13 wide, found a pair of these on the clearance rack in a 14, tried them on for giggles and they actually fit well.
I agree with others who have stated that they are comfortable like slippers but not especially supportive. Better for milling around camp than hiking.
I've used them on camping trips down to -15F with no issues. I was probably wearing a single pair of good wool socks with them. I haven't had an opportunity to test them down to the rated temperature but I have no reason to think they wouldn't do ok. It depends on so many other factors anyways, activity levels, what else you're wearing, your own metabolism and circulation etc.
Anyways I like the boots, they are easy to get into, easy to lace up with gloves on, and I feel like I'm prepared for any cold I might experience anywhere in Northern Minnesota.

Bear Boots
I searched all over the internet to find these great boots, they are light while at the same time completely water and snow proof. They are high enough to get through most snow without any going over the top into your feet.........can't find anything wrong at all with these boots.
These sorel bear boots are the best for deep snow hiking,or for shoveling after big snow storms.Livining in Northern Minnesota we know our snow. These are the boots for it.

Caribou Boots By Sorel Rank High
I grew up in Buffalo, NY I have been thru lots of winter boots. I have destroyed, lost and abused many winter boots. The Sorel Caribou Boots are the best. I'm 50 years old now and still live to play in the snow. I do not ski. I purchased my Caribou Sorel boots in January 2000. We went to the winter fest in Ottawa Canada. The temp was 10F most days. We walked all around Ottawa for 5 days, my feet stayed warm and dry. Last winter I went to Montreal. I got there in the middle of the worst snow storm to hit in 34 years. I walked all around "Old City Montreal" for 3 days. Again my feet stayed warm and dry, At nite the temp went down to 15F. I coat the boots twice with "Neets Foot Oil" at the start of every winter. Water has never gotten into my feet. I gave a pair of Sorel boots to 3 other people. They also love them. They are The best winter boots I have ever owned.I think the Sorel Caribou boot is the best buy for the money.I know they make better ones, but I don't need boots that are rated for -80 below zero. These boots are just fine with me,at -20 below..to -40 below.I don't need boots warmer than that.
Cold Mountain Winter Boots
These boots are literary the best pair I've had in years. I live up north in NY state where in the winter it's cold. Plus I work at a car wash and I'm around water all day. These boot keep my feet dry and warm all day. I've been working at the car wash for almost 5 years and till this day can't believe that I found a good pair of cold mountain boots.
Sorel Cumberland
I had been eyeing these boots since last winter and now that we've had over 12" of snow already this winter and 40 degrees feels warm, I made sure these boots made it on my Christmas list. I am so happy! I chose the oyster color and it is a nice, stylish neutral (a soft grey with sort of an ice blue undertone to it).
Size-wise, I typically wear a size 8. However, after looking at their sizing chart (a must-do!) and also knowing I typically wear thicker socks in the winter that are difficult to squeeze into my size 8 shoes, I had my husband order me a size 9. I have worn them several times now with regular, non-bulky socks, and I feel like I do have some extra room for bulkier socks, but the extra room I gave myself doesn't feel like I'm swimming in the boots. I'm pretty confident that I ordered just the right size. I might have been able to go with a size 8.5, but I might not get my thicker socks in there as comfortably.
Additionally, these boots are very well constructed, feel light on my feet despite being a winter boot, and most important of all they keep my feet warm! Hallelujah! Seriously, my feet feel like frozen blocks of ice in the winter. Once I go outside my feet get cold and they stay cold for hours it seems. Not with these boots. My feet stay warm!
With regard to price, I've never paid more than $40 for a pair of winter boots (and all they ended up being were bulky weights that never kept my feet warm), but I've also never lived in this much snow, so I saw this as the time to make the investment. I have no doubts I'm going to get a ton of use out of these boots and be warm every single time!
The -only- adjustment I'm still getting used to with regard to these boots is driving with them. I don't typically wear boots at all, so I'm not used to any limited flexibility in my ankle. I do not feel that it's a hazard to drive with them - they're not bulky nor heavy - I just have to either loosen the laces or put a little more pressure to press down on the gas pedal. No issue pressing the brake pedal -- just flexing the ankle to press the gas pedal. Perhaps this will work itself out as I continue to break them in.
Also, all my prior winter boots were zip-up, but these lace up boots take no time at all. I slide my foot in, tuck my pant leg in (they're a great height), and pull the laces tight (they tighten up very smoothly with ease), and then tie 'em up. No fuss. It's also really nice that the tongue of the boot is constructed to keep snow out. That's a huge plus.
So, final conclusion, these are fabulous winter boots!

Snow Angel Boots
The Sorel Snow Angel Boots are a great multi-functional boot. I live in Seattle where it is typically more muddy than cold. When going up to the mountains, I also need a pair sorel boots that will work in the cold temperatures and heavy snow. These are the perfect pair for both. My feet stay perfectly warm in very cold conditions and never get wet even in heavy mud and water. Warm, comfortable and stylish. Hard to find a pair of boots that look good and do the job. I also like the fact that you can easily wear them inside or out of your pantleg. I found these on Amazon for the amazing price of $65 with free shipping. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.I love the Snow Angel Boots By Sorel.I'd recommend these boots to all the girls.
Sorel Snowlion Boots
I have waited to buy these boots for a long time, deterred by the usual high price. However, with this deal, how could I resist? These boots are not only worth every penny of the sale price, but of the standard price, too. They are well made, warm, and comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone. Choose your regular size, and expect to wear heavy socks for the perfect fit.
Sorel Pac Boots
Love these boots! They're water proof, comfortable, and WARM! I could walk miles in these, but I don't expect to walk FAST. Like any other pair of boots I've ever owned, when I walk fast, the back of the boot rubs on my heels. Otherwise, nothing but LOVE! These kick Ugg boots butt any day.
Sorel Conquest Boots
These boots (Sorel Conquest) are awesome! Yes, if you stand around for a hours, not moving your feet, they will get a little cold. But so far I have worn them to -38 degree weather for about 5 hours while I was hunting here in Alaska. My feet were on fire and sweaty by the time I get them off. And that's wearing boot socks, not thick winter socks. After 17 years in the military I thought I wouldn't EVER wear anything but Danner's on my feet, but I have to hand it to Sorel with these boots. So far they are awesome. I tell everyone that ask about them, if they like there feet to be warm and toasty when it's cold outside they should buy them. And trust me, here around Fairbanks we know what cold is! (-40 to -60) Sorel Conquest is the best boot on the market.
Sorel Men's Caribou Winter Boot
The Sorel Caribou continues to be the winter boot that all others are compared to. Comfortable, functional, warm and it keeps your feet dry. Good traction and it keeps the snow out if you step in the deep stuff. This is a top quality product.
I used this boot all my life for ice fishing, and on winter camping trips in Northern Minnesota. You can't go wrong with a Sorel Caribou Boot.

Joan of Artic Snowboot
These boots are so warm! As the other reviews state, the boots do run a little big and do push your feet forward slightly. I recommend wearing thicker socks to prevent the backs of your feet from scuffing against back of the boots. I'm stuck in the mid-Atlantic 2010 blizzard and I just got in from shoveling for 2 hours. My feet are the warmest part of my body. These were the best purchase I've made in years. I purchased from Ramsey Outdoor (through Amazon) and the shipping was very quick.
All boots should be large on a person to some degree.Heat needs a place to store, and a large pair of socks makes a person need that extra room. These Sorel Joan of Artic Boots are the best.

Womens Sorel Caribou
I've had two pairs of these Canadian-made boots and found them to be excellent in nearly every respect. They are the warmest boots I've ever had, sturdy, and flexible enough to walk in comfortably, plus, the liners are easily removed for laundering.
One caution: although the company advises that you add a half-size when ordering, I had to order a half-size smaller than usual to get a good fit.
After 12 years, these boots continue to look nearly new and are as warm as ever.
The Caribou seems to be a great boot. Very comfortable. I agree that it is a bit clunky! Not a form fitting boot, but I bought it for serious weather. I'm a size 8 and the boot in size 8 fits fine. After wearing lightweight boots in the snow to work around the farm, I was tired of cold feet and purchased this product. I really appreciate the thick liner. The boots are very warm and stay dry. Although the boots are heavier, this is a great product!
